Morning Dharma March 15

“You are not a drop in the ocean, you are the entire ocean in a drop.” — Rumi

While it’s important to remember the interconnectedness of all beings, sometimes feeling the ‘entire ocean’ can be a bit much. Today we learn to use body awareness to drop into the space of right now, a place where we can feel safe and nurtured, a place away from fear, sadness, shame, anxiety…we also move through poses to release tension in our hips and backs – two places where we often tend to hold our emotions.

Morning Dharma March 10

Continuing some of our poses from Tuesday, we bring awareness into our bodies remembering that they have more purpose than just carrying around our heads. Starting on our back with blocks, we embrace our physical space through heart opening poses, neck stretches, and ending with malasana (yogic squats). If you’re feeling neck and shoulder tension, this class should feel great!

Morning Dharma Mar 8 2022

It’s the morning after an intense wind storm so we’re balancing vata energy through grounding poses. We use blocks to release neck tension, explore malasana, and consider what it means to embrace the cyclical nature of life.
