A perfect summer morning flow — we start out slowly opening the chest and working through the spine, open and stretch the hips, and then move into an invigorating Sun Sal A&B flow. A feel-good flow that will hopefully leave you smiling and ready for the day!
A continuation of Tuesday’s class – we start slowly warming up the arms, shoulders, and hips and then move into a Sun Sal B flow with twists. A feel-good flow for a balmy Thursday!
Focus on hamstrings, shoulders, and back with some twists to spice things up.
New month = new theme! For June we’ll consider what it means to be open to possibility, new ways of thinking about and experiencing the world around us.
Today’s class moves at a chill-pace. We focus on stretching and opening hips & hamstrings, along with sidebends and twists.
BALANCE ON AND OFF THE MAT – Today’s class is a a culmination of our eagle flow, balancing poses, and a meditation on how to honor our values.

FLY LIKE AN EAGLE – In today’s class we start with several poses to prep for garundasana (eagle pose). Each pose builds both balance & concentration is great for legs, hips, and shoulders.

STABILITY & FLUIDITY: A standing balancing flow with guided meditation, warrior 3, half moon, and tree pose.
PLAYFUL BALANCE: Today we play with half moon prep in many variations. We start with a standing balancing flow pause for a guided meditation, and end with another flow — all to help find balance in body, mind, and heart.

The overall energy today seems to be a little drowsy so we start out with some slow, floor based stretches and then move into a more invigorating flow. We focus on core, hips, and side bends. We also contemplate what it means to embrace the wisdom of uncertainty and to open up to new ways of thinking that may differ from our previous perceptions.

Yes, the world can break our hearts but it can also break our hearts wide open. By coming to our mats, and into our days, from a place of love we can learn to change our perspectives and embrace all that our lives have to offer, healing generational traumas along the way.
