August 25 2022 | Core Energy, Part 2
By popular demand, today's class builds on Tuesday's energizing core class with additional variations and longer holds. We also use the block to get deeper insight into the inner workings of our abs and do some stretches to work out any sore muscles that we might have from Tuesday. And, we have a special cricket guest!
August 23 2022 | Core Energy
Feeling sluggish? This class will energize you from the inside out focusing on breath work and core poses to strengthen your abdominal muscles, aid in slow digestion, and leave you feeling ready for whatever your day may bring next!
Props that you may want, but not required: Blocks, meditation cushion.
August 18 2022 | Joint Mobility
If you have achy, stiff, crunchy, or simply sore joints, this class will help you stretch the muscles around the joints to create more ease, stability, and overall mobility. Joint issues can often result from inactivity, dehydration, and inflammation. So even moving just a little bit each day can help keep your whole body moving for years to come. And be sure to stay properly hydrated - drink that water!
Props that you may want, but not required: Blocks, strap, chair, or wall.
August 16 2022 | Get Energized!
This practice is the perfect antidote for sluggishness! A full body flow, this class includes kapalabhati breath, meditation, and a series of warrior poses. You'll finish feeling energized and ready for your day — physically and mentally!
August 11 2022 | Mind Control
This class is the perfect go-to when your mind starts racing or gets stuck in looping thoughts. Through a guided meditation, you'll practice slowing down the mind giving you the freedom to just let thoughts come and go without any engagement or reaction. A sun sal A&B sequence will help you focus on your body letting your mind take a little, probably much needed, vacation. Enjoy and let me know how it goes!
August 9 2022 | Yogic Reset
This practice is perfect for coming back to the mat after taking a break from your practice. Whether due to travel, vacation, injury, or illness, it's important to start with a grounding practice before moving into a more vigorous flow.
August 2 2022 | Releasing Neck Tension
For the month of August, we'll be building a summer "first aid kit" — each class will have tips, poses, and techniques that you can pull out whenever you find yourself in need. Today's class will help relieve neck and upper back tension — it's a slow-moving all-levels class that will allow you to release in the neck, warm up the upper back muscles, and hopefully ease into your day!
