Today’s flow is inspired by the 108 sun salutations traditionally practiced on solstice. We honor another rotation around the sun with 10 sun sals along with several poses to release tension in the neck, shoulders, and traps. Happy Holidays for all the holidays you might celebrate.
How is your heart feeling today? And your hips? Today’s class will give you the space and time to listen — to see what wisdom your body is trying to tell you. We start with a slow-moving floor practice and move into a guided meditation followed by a gentle psoas stretching flow.

This is a short month for Morning Dharma (no classes between Oct 11 – 20) so there’s no formal theme. Instead we’ll trust that whatever dharma we need to consider will arise. This class is an active vinyasa warrior flow utilizing both sides of our mats…and brains!
Inspired by a talk by Ram Dass about karma yoga (yoga of action) we will try to move through a familiar practice of sun salutations with a deeper sense of presence and fresh eyes. In meditation, we’ll remind ourselves that we need not compartmentalize our practice from our everyday life. Every action and interaction is an opportunity to tune in deeply to our lived experience. With each task, may we do so with great intention and compassion.
By popular demand, today’s class builds on Tuesday’s energizing core class with additional variations and longer holds. We also use the block to get deeper insight into the inner workings of our abs and do some stretches to work out any sore muscles that we might have from Tuesday. And, we have a special cricket guest!
This class is the perfect go-to when your mind starts racing or gets stuck in looping thoughts. Through a guided meditation, you’ll practice slowing down the mind giving you the freedom to just let thoughts come and go without any engagement or reaction. A perfect summer morning flow — we start out slowly opening the chest and working through the spine, open and stretch the hips, and then move into an invigorating Sun Sal A&B flow. A feel-good flow that will hopefully leave you smiling and ready for the day!
